| Playing with colours (4 days) | |
| Participants will study all kinds of colours by dealing with them both practically and theoretically and their distinctive features. Nature, arts and psychology serve as examples. During the four days, the participants will work on four projects employing different techniques (Collage, Patchwork, Crazy Quilt). The key colours are red, green, yellow and blue. |  |
| Blue Quilts (2 days) | |
| Like in an impressionistic painting, compositions will be broken down into minute colored dots or small squares of fabric. |  |
| Magic Forest (2 days) | |
| Ready to go green? Give your fantasy the green light for a green garden or green forest! By relying on a contemporary application technique, a green quilt will be produced. |  |
| Orange like an orange (2 days) | |
| The colour orange inspires to design a piece of work especially with circular forms. Participants will work with both traditional and modern techniques. |  |
| The colour of the sun (2 days) | |
| A special quilt pattern will be designed with the colour of the sun and contrast-ing colours. |  |
| Red Scraps (2 days) | |
| Red is my favourite colour. By working with Crazy Technique and Crazy Stripes the participants will create a quilt in various shades of red. |  |
| Black on (and) White (2 days) | |
| The contrasting non-colours black and white serve as an inspiration for contemporary patchwork and creative cutting methods in all possible variations. |  |
| A House of one's Dreams (2 days) | |
| Inspired by the architecture of modern painters, such as Klee, Macke, Gaudi or Hundertwasser, participants will construct the house of their dreams (working with the log cabin or a collage). |  |
| A play with rectangles and squares (2 days) | |
| Inspired by the paintings of modern painters, such as Klee, Mondrian or Kandinsky, participants will play and create with square patches. This will generate colourful abstract works of art |  |
| Small pictures with needle and thread (2 days) | |
| Participants will create small works of art by using collage technique or patchwork. Threads, ribbons and pearls will decorate the surface. |  |
| Fabric-designer (2 days) | |
| Pictures and photos will be printed on fabric to inspire new views for traditional or contemporary patchwork design. |  |
